Gomasio is a 2-ingredients condiment, easy to make at home. With its intense and deep nutty-salty flavor it will boost the flavor of any savory dish.

scant tsp salt
Roast the sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant. Stir frequently to prevent from burning, the sesame shouldn’t turn black because it would taste bitter. Leave to cool.
Mix the roasted sesame seeds with the salt, and grind coarsely in a nut grinder or a mortar.
You can store gomasio in an airtight container for several weeks.
