I discovered gomasio at a Japanese restaurant and was immediately hooked on this fragrant and flavorful condiment that lends any savory dish that extra something. I bought it once but realized that it was lacking the intense and deep, nutty-salty flavor, so I started making gomasio at home. And why not as it takes only a couple of minutes and 2 ingredients (sesame and salt) to make a big batch.

I like to sprinkle it on any Asian dish, plain rice, salads, steamed or roasted vegetables, and even on a slice of bread (with vegan butter).

So, here you go, a foolproof recipe, and you'll always have a secret seasoning with the wow factor ready at Hand.
